Chrome Plated Induction Ground Shafts
Our chrome plated induction ground spindles are made of CK 55 material. It has a surface hardness of 62+/-2 HRC. Especially in linear roller bearings, the low surface hardness causes scratching on the shaft. This causes the bearing to be unable to operate on a clean surface and to deform in a short time. The middle part of the shafts is of normal hardness, and it is possible to reach the body with normal hardness, which can be threaded, by threading in the middle or by chipping off the hard outer surface.
