Stepper hijacking, which is the most feared stepper motors, has been solved by using closed loop system in these series. The 1000 pulse encoder disk and reader located behind the motor informs the driver whether the motor has taken the required steps or not. The driver strengthens the motor by increasing the amp for the steps it cannot assign. However, if there is a step that it cannot assign, it stops the alarm by lighting. It is preferred that it can respond to sudden stop-starts much faster (closer to the servo) than stepper motors, and the position is guaranteed by following the alarm output.
There is a missing pulse compensation (backup). Returns to the missed position. In addition, since the holding torque has a locking feature as in stepper motors, they are the systems that take the lead in position protection.
It does not require position tracking by following the encoder output. As long as there is no alarm, it is fixed in our experience until today.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
Drive Jumper settings must be made with the drive powered off for safety.
Grounding must be done to the metal part of the panel where the drivers are located. (The need for grounding can be understood by connecting a voltage measuring device to the Neutral and ground wires.)
PULSE and DIR signals must be sent as 5V in PLC, Arduino, Axis control card or specially designed cards.
If the PULSE and DIR signals to be distributed one by one in minus (NPN) or plus (PNP) driving are above 5 volts, a resistance must be entered. Example 1.8KΩ for 24Volt.
